My New Adventure!

For those of you who may not be aware I have moved to Springfield, Mo to go to school. I'm am working on generals right now but eventually I hope to get into the Physical Therapy Assisting program.
I have moved into a cute apartment with my roommate Vannessa. No I did not spell her name wrong but still it's fun being two Vannessa's. Here are some pics of our apartment.
This is the view from my Balcony, At least there's a pool right?

This is a side ways shot of my kitchen
This is a sideways shot of my living room.
This is me enjoying my bedroom.
I cannot take credit for the decorating of my apartment my roommate already had it done when I moved in.
I'm enjoying life here it's not without its struggles but I'm having fun.I'm enjoying my classes and I love my work. I am also taking an institute class, we are learning about the Old Testament and in another class we are learning about the Book of Mormon.
To end this post I just want to tell you how wonderful of a Sunday I have had. I went to church this morning and I usually love church and today was no different except the fact that I really needed the talks that were given today. I am so grateful for my Heavenly Father who knows and loves me and lets me know it.

Quiet Sunday Afternoon

This week has been a fun but busy week. Monday I bought a car, it’s a Pontiac Vibe. Her name is Vie short for Violet. The name Vie came first and then I realized that the name Vie is weird so I decided that it’s short for Violet.
Wednesday we had a birthday party for Sam. He turned 22 on the 6th and Mom and I decided that we should have a surprise party for him. I was afraid that we would spoil the surprise but oddly enough he had no clue what we were up too.  Mom even managed to get him out of the house without him realizing what was going on and snuck three extra pizzas in the back of the car without Sam realizing it. Mom also made a yummy Oreo Ice Cream cake.
Friday there was a volleyball game in Neosho that a bunch of us decided to go to. The problem is that we often have more people who want to go than people who want or are able to drive. So I felt like I should probably offer to drive since I now have a vehicle that isn’t referred to as the van of death. I was really nervous though because last time I drove a bunch of us to someplace it didn’t go over so well. But we made it there and back safe. Well my GPS may have steered us wrong silly GPS but other than that it was a great trip.
Today has been nice I love having church at 9:00 because then I get some time in the afternoon to myself to just enjoy the Sunday and the spirit that it brings. I was able to read an article in the New Era about how to make decision with the Lords help.
Well that wraps up todays post yay for a successful first try. :D
